Thank contributors by keeping uploads easy. Review their books privately, improve the information, then approve only material ReadMalawi has permission to distribute.
Admins only. Book donations are not automatically public. Check authorship, licensing, special online-only requirements and suitability for children before publishing. In particular, all Malawian works require explicit moderator approval.
PUBLICATION PAUSED DURING TESTING. All member books remain private. Librarians may preview and correct metadata, but approval, bulk publication and rejection are disabled until a founder-approved release. The database also enforces a publication lock.
Publish many books in one action when every selected work has been checked and ReadMalawi has documented permission to make it public. This is a librarian-only action. Publications become publicly readable immediately, while downloads remain disabled.
Important: One permission basis and one supporting evidence reference must apply to ALL selected books in the batch. If books have different licences or owners, approve separate groups. Test documents and obvious vacancies/company/government notices cannot be published in bulk.

Final release requires typing PUBLISH [count]. A private audit record identifies the approving librarian and the rights evidence. To keep batches manageable, the tool publishes at most 50 per action.

Review what readers can currently access. If a book contains private material or needs another copyright review, return it to the private review queue. This will not delete the uploaded file.
