3. English–Chichewa vocabulary assistant

Search either language. These starter words are provisional aids drawn from ReadMalawi vocabulary, not an approved Oxford dictionary. A single English word may need different Chichewa forms depending on its sentence.

4. Optional AI meaning review

When approved and funded, AI can check up to three flagged passages per request for possible changes in meaning, missing ideas and grammar issues. It also provides a suggested correction and an English back-translation.

Nothing is sent unless the librarian explicitly confirms. Never use private customer documents here. AI suggestions do not approve or publish translations.

Maximum 12 AI review requests per librarian per UTC day, 40 across the site. Disabled until a separate private translation-AI API key is configured and funding is approved.
